HCFS, Inc. is a Revenue Cycle Solution and Third-Party Eligibility Company hired by hospitals and hospital systems to (1) maximize their business office processes, (2) comply with regulatory requirements, and (3) minimize the amount of bad debt incurred from self-pay patients.  Our clients hire HCFS as a Business Associate to be Subject Matter Experts in these focused areas, and our Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, customers and product development teams to advance multiple products and perform the necessary quality assurance testing to meet our evolving business needs. 


Your role, as our Business Analyst, involves:

  • Analyzing the business objectives of stakeholders and developing solutions to their business needs.
  • Understanding business requirements and translating them into specific software requirements.
  • Effectively communicating with internal teams to deliver GUI screen mock-ups and designs.
  • Serving as liaison between technology teams, support teams, vendors and business units.
  • Assisting with identifying and solving design flaws to increase usability.
  • Presenting on topics including product walk-throughs for internal, external, technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Creating test cases based upon requirements to be used by IT team and to be used by business users for UAT.
  • Executing test cases and documenting results.
  • Facilitating UAT launches by hosting meetings to present what is being tested and the test case materials.
  • Creating processes regarding testing.
  • Communicating with users regarding ticket updates or additional clarification/details.
  • Acting as official sign off before moving to higher environments for development items.


THE “MUST HAVES” (aka the Minimum job requirements)

  • Strong technical skills including user experience design concepts, SQL Server queries, relational database models and healthcare EDI
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong customer service and communication skills
  • 3-5 years of analytical experience within Information Technology
  • Healthcare experience is required
  • Proactive, engaged, can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision
  • Analytic thinking and writing with the ability to ask the right questions and document the answers clearly
  • Very good teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people
  • Consistent punctuality and attendance is required
