    HCFS, Inc. is a Revenue Cycle Solution and Third-Party Eligibility Company hired by hospitals and hospital systems to maximize their business office processes and minimize the amount of bad debt incurred from self-pay patients.

     

    Our Eligibility Operations team proactively manages all possible third-party payer program solutions as an advocate for uninsured and under-insured patients.  Our team's commitment and success will not only help relieve some of the patient’s financial burden - it will also generate additional revenue for the hospital while continuing to make HCFS a profitable organization.

    Responsibilities

    DETAILS ABOUT YOUR ROLE

    Your role, as our Operations Supervisor, involves promoting team development and hospital success through process efficiency, report auditing and work trend analysis.  Responsibilities include the following:

    • Managing Inventory without Direct Accountability of Progressing Patient Accounts
    • Monitor Employee Productivity
    • Monitor/Reconcile Referrals
    • Conducts Quality Assurance Checks
    • Ability/Access to Approve Close Account Requests
    • Review/Approve/Monitor Home Visits
    • Review Sample of Accounts for Comprehension and Progression
    • Distributes Reports
    • Provide Weekly Report to Manager (accessible storage to Eligibility Leadership and Executive Team)
    • Time & Attendance (including ExponentHR Approvals)
    • Contributes and Supports Employee Engagement & Empowerment
    • Initial Interviewer of Potential Candidate
    • First Step for any Personnel Issues
    • Review Protocols Every 6 Months
    • Communicates Protocol Changes to Manager
    • Handles Hospital Access Requests
    • Handles Workstation Setup

    Qualifications

    THE “MUST HAVES” (aka the Minimum job requirements)

    • 3+ years of Eligibility Operations experience is required
    • Solid understanding of third-party reimbursement programs
    • Solid demonstration of proper account progression while maximizing revenue potential
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills - building a professional connection will elevate your performance
    • Excellent customer service skills - how you say it matters....
    • Solid computer skills to fully utilize our technology offerings
